  • WHAT'S CURRENCY IN HUNGARY?

  • IS THERE UBER IN BUDAPEST?

    No, unfortunately Uber was banned by the government in 2016. The official taxi app to use is called Bolt Taxi. You can download the app here: https://bolt.eu/en/cities/budapest/

  • HOW TO GET AROUND IN BUDAPEST?

    Aside from the Bolt Taxi, there is metro, tram, and bus that is extremely efficient and easy to navigate. You can find more about the different transportation lines and timetables here: https://bkk.hu/en/ You can get tickets fot the bus/tram at the bus stops, from the vending machines.

  • HOW TO FIND US?

    Our stylish apartment is located in the heart of the city, on Liszt Ferenc Square, easily accessible by public transport. Its central location makes it easy to reach all parts of the city, from the cosmopolitan city centre to the picturesque promenades along the Danube.

  • WHERE CAN I PARK, HOW CAN I FIND A PARKING SPACE AND WHAT DOES IT COST?

    Parking on the streets can be a little bit tricky, since it might take a while to find a spot in the area. If you are lucky to find one, it costs 600 HUF/h 8am-10pm on weekdays. (Be careful, one parking place is available only for three hours, after that you have to extend your parking period or take away your car, and some of them for locals)

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO WALK INTO THE CITY CENTER?

    The Maison Frank is situated right in the city center. State Opera House is a few steps from the Maison Frank. Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport is 17 km from the property.

  • HOW DO I GET TO THE AIRPORT?

    By cab: our reception staff is happy to help you. They can call you a cab anytime.

    By public transport: Take the bus 100 E, it takes you from Airport to Deak Ferenc Square, from the square you can get to Maison Frank by walk in 10 minutes.

  • WHERE CAN I ENJOY GOOD HUNGARIAN FOOD?

    There are various restaurants offering traditional Hungarian dishes in the neighborhood. You may find them on our pocket map!

  • ARE PETS ALLOWED – AND WHAT IS THE CHARGE PER DAY?

    We are sorry, but pets are not allowed in Maison Frank.

  • AT WHICH TIME I CAN GET IN- AND HAVE TO LEAVE?

    Our check in time is from 14:00 to 06:00

    Our check out time is until 11:00
